Obituary of Lynn W. Gabel

Piscataway, NJ - Lynn (Welliver) Gabel, 64, passed away on January 20, 2018 at St. Peters University Hospital in New Brunswick after a long illness. Born in Queens, NY to the late Horace and Elva (Bove) Welliver, Lynn lived in Dunellen and North Plainfield for a short time, but was a longtime resident of Piscataway. In her early years, she worked as a nurse. Once her son Christian was born, she stayed home to raise her family. She loved to play tennis, cook, garden and go antiquing. Predeceased by her brother Lee Welliver, she is survived by her husband John, whom would have celebrated forty-one years of marriage on January 22nd, her dear son Christian and his companion Abigail of Ringoes and her nephew Marc Welliver. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 5-8pm in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846. Funeral services will begin 9:45 am on Thursday, January 25, 2018 followed by a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church in Piscataway. At the request of the family, following the church service, cremation will take place privately.
