Edna Louise McCleverty (Robinson), born December 6, 1932 in Newark NJ passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 26, 2016.
Born in Newark, she resided in Jersey City with parents where she attended PS#29 for 4 years, PS#15 until junior high & Henry Synder High school until graduation.
Edna then attended nursing school and work for James Ewing hospital for 10 years in NY which is part of Memorial Cancer Center. She later worked as a private nurse in NYC.
Edna met and married John McCleverty in 1976 and the two moved to the St. Thomas, USVI that same year and resided there for over 35 years. She moved back to Jersey City after the passing of John then settled in Piscataway with her daughter.
Edna is survived by her devoted daughter, Jacinth Sutton and son in law Alexander Sutton and her four loving grandchildren, Stahasha, Precious, Aleex & Ishmael.
