Obituary of Robert W. Huber

Robert W. Huber, 53, of South Plainfield, passed away on October 20, 2017 at his home. Born in Plainfield, he was a lifelong South Plainfield Resident. Robert worked for Campbell Soup in South Plainfield and was a member of the local Teamsters 553 before becoming a forklift operator for Pepsi Co in Piscataway. He was a former member of the Dunellen Elks 1488 for many years. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed time spent out on the water, music, and was known for his love of animals. He was preceded in death by his loving father, Robert J. Huber in 2015 Surviving are his loving mother Virginia, his dear sister,Michelle Bennett and husband Robert, uncles Harold Huber, Fred Huber, John Harrington, and aunt Mary Smith, his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Christopher, Joshua, Timothy and Shaynon , his great nieces and nephews, Kali, Gabriella, Emma, Miley, Kendall, Colette, Evan, and Brayden. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. Funeral services will begin with a prayer at 8:00PM at the funeral home.
