Kutztown, PA - Bernadettte H. (Kashuba) Hooley, 73, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA. Born in Exeter, PA to the late Anthony and Catherine (Malinowski) Kashuba, she has lived in Glendale, PA, Babylon, NY, East Windsor, NJ and settled to Kutztown, PA in 2002.
She worked as a Personnel Director for the Bank of Kuwait in Manhattan, NY. She was an avid crafter who loved stamping, macramé and scrapbooking. Cooking was her passion in life as was taking care of her family. A true homemaker, she enjoyed her grandchildren and loved watching Columbo on television.
Predeceased by her sister Ann Marie Kashuba and step-daughter Robin Hooley, Bernadette leaves behind her loving and devoted family; husband of nineteen years, Jeffrey, daughter Cathy Zupko of Kutztown, sons Thomas Zupko also of Kutztown and Daniel Zupko and his wife Evelyn of Tega Cay, SC., step-sons Bryan Hooley of Freehold, NJ and Scott Hooley of Lakewood, NJ and her four grandchildren Norma, Bernadette and Nikki Zupko and Sophia Hooley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Grace Christian Fellowship Church, 1190 Mountain Avenue, Middlesex, NJ 08846 beginning 9:30 am. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am followed by burial at East Windsor Cemetery, 790 Windsor Perrineville Road, East Windsor, NJ 08520.
In lieu of flowers, donations sent to the Grace Christian Fellowship Church would be appreciated.
