Obituary of Dennis L. Tomore

Middlesex, NJ Dennis L. Tomore, 60, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Somerville to his late parents James Sr. and Edith (Mason) Tomore, he has been a lifelong resident of Middlesex.Dennis was a groundskeeper with UMDNJ in Piscataway for many years. He enjoyed time with his family and loved to fish, hunt, camp and was a fan of nascar, especially Jeff Gordon.Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Robert who died in 2010.Dennis is survived by his loving wife Deborah (Springer) Tomore and his cherished daughter Ashley. He also leaves behind his brothers; Michael and his wife Kim of Middlesex and James Jr. and his wife Sharon of Jacksonville, FL, brother-in-law Ron Springer of Wichita, KS, his nephew Adam, nieces Sarah, Jessica, Carrie, Alexandra and Liz as well as his four legged companion Frankie.Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846. At the request of the family, cremation will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions sent to the Middlesex Rescue Squad, 1400 Mountain Avenue, Middlesex, NJ 08846 or the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter, 194 New Jersey 10, East Hanover, NJ 07936 would be greatly appreciated.
