Francis Lacey, 63, passed away in Green Brook on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Born in Plainfield to his late parents Martin F. and Anne (McNamara) Lacey, he was a lifelong resident of Plainfield before settling to Green Brook in 2014.
For many years, Francis was a custodian for the Union County ARC located in Springfield. He loved spending time with his family, enjoyed watching television and listening to the radio.
Predeceased by his parents, Francis leaves behind his loving sister Marie Lacey of Green Brook, cousins Thomas Lyons and wife Valerie of Middlesex and several extended family members in the United States and Ireland.
Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 4-7 pm and on Saturday, March 25, 2017 beginning 8:15 am.
Funeral services will be held 8:45 am in the funeral home on Saturday, March 25, 2017 followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex. Burial will follow in the family plot of Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Union County ARC would be appreciated.
