Edward Cremone, 91, of Piscataway, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2016 at Care One in Bound Brook. Born in Plainfield to the late Tito and Lucy Cremone, he was a former resident of South Plainfield, before settling in Piscataway in the 1950's. Mr. Cremone proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during World War II. Edward went on to join the Local 825 Operating Engineers where he dedicated over 45 years. He was a current member of the Possumtown Fire House for more than 40 years, and enjoyed the time spent serving his community. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Gloria Cajkouski Cremone in 2014. Surviving are his loving children, Diane Febinger and husband Edward, Edward Cremone and wife Rhonda, and Darlene Leuschke and husband Rob, his dear siblings, Anna Vakerich, Delores Long, and Nick Cremone and wife Marion, his nine cherished grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 19th 2016 from 1:00 to 5:00PM at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, June 20th at the funeral home with interment to follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edward's memory to the Possumtown Volunteer Fire Company 85 Stratton St S, Piscataway Township, NJ 08854
