Marie G. Balutis, 82, passed away February 22, 2016 at the Abingdon Care and Rehab in Green Brook. Born and raised in Newark, she has resided in Piscataway for 51 years.
Marie was formerly employed with Raritan Valley Insurance in Flemington. She enjoyed dinning out, spending time on the beach and bowling. Her best moments were simply spent being a mom.
Mrs. Balutis is predeceased by her husband Robert who passed away in 2012; by her brothers Donald Viscido and Vincent Viscido and by her sister-in-law Mary Viscido. Surviving are her loving daughter Roberta Balutis of Piscataway; her sister and brother-in-law, Roseanne and Bobby MacMillan; her sister-in-law Jackie Viscido and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends and family may gather Friday from 3 to 7 pm at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ for visitation. A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway. Committal will be private.
