Age: 87 * Formerly of Middlesex
Highland Park, NJ - Agnes (Bednarczyk) Sperduto, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 19, 2017. Born and raised in Manville to the late Stephen and Mary (Krachazk) Bednarczyk, she settled to Middlesex in 1956.
After many years of employment on the assembly line, Agnes retired from Chanel in Piscataway. She had a love for gardening and enjoyed making floral arrangements. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex and belonged to the Altar Rosary Society. In her earlier years, she was active with the Bound Brook Fire Company #1 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by her husband William V. Sperduto who passed away August 1, 1992 and by her five siblings. Agnes leaves behind her loving children; William T. and wife Mary Ellen of Middlesex, Michele Sperduto and husband Don DelMonte of East Brunswick, Doreen Krutz and husband Nicholas III of Middlesex and Thomas and his wife Lynda of Harmony Township. She will be missed dearly by her eight cherished grandchildren; William M. and wife Erin, Sarah and husband Harry, Ed and wife Rachel, Nicholas IV and wife Jaime and Ashley, Michael, Stephen and Thomas as well as five adored great-grandchildren; Lianna, Kylee, Nicholas V, Madelyn and Hailey.
Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 4-8pm and on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 8:15 am until 8:45 am.
Funeral services will begin 8:45 am in the funeral home on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex. Agnes will be laid to rest beside her husband in the family plot of Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
