It is with great sadness that the family of Richard J. Zeitler announces that he died on Tuesday, April 14, 2015.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ on January 15, 1941
A history buff, Richard had passions for composing music and playing the piano, for his Catholic community, and for humor in all its forms. A lawyer with a well-known private practice, Richard graduated from Rutgers University and Rutgers School of Law.
Richard is survived by his two sons, Richard Zeitler, Jr. (wife, Meredith Zeitler) and David Zeitler (M.G.H.O.W.); his two step-daughters, Kimberly Olsen (husband, Cesar Cardala) and Krista Olsen-Dibsie; his nephew Kevin Novick (wife, Shari Novick); his niece Pamela Wyn Shannon (husband, Eifion Wyn Williams) and his sister Arlene Novick. Richard was predeceased by his beloved wife of 30 years, Brenda Olsen-Zeitler.
Relatives, friends, and colleagues are invited to the viewing on Friday, April 17, at Piscataway Funeral Home (2-4 PM and 7-9 PM); the Saturday 11:30 am Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Piscataway, NJ; and burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, NJ.
