Middlesex, NJ - Jacqueline Kleinbeck, 86, passed away on July 5, 2018 at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Newark to the late William and Eleanor (Donohue) Smith, Jacqueline grew up in South Orange, but has been a resident of Middlesex for over fifty years.
She formerly worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a tax auditor for thirty years and had been a licensed real estate agent before that. She loved to dance, cook, sew, garden, and to go down the shore. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors.
Jacqueline was an opinionated person having submitted many articles into the Political and Economic sections of various newspapers. She worked the polls throughout the years and assisted with voting.
Predeceased by her parents, Jacqueline leaves behind her loving children; Frederick Kleinbeck of Middlesex, Maureen Detweiler (Ken) of Lake Harmony, PA and Kathleen Kleinbeck also of Middlesex. She will be missed dearly by her three grandchildren; Ashley, Shelby and Nicholas and great-grandson Memphis.
Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 6-8pm and on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 9:15 am until 9:45 am.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday beginning 9:45 am followed by a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin in Middlesex. Burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
