Obituary of Veronica J. Kane

Veronica J. Kane (Antolik),103, died on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Runnells Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Berkeley Heights. She was born and raised in Plainfield. Veronica belonged to the St. Luke's North Plainfield Senior Group as well as to the Tri County Senior Citizens of Piscataway where she par took in various activities. Earlier in life Veroinca was a seamstress for many well know dress companies in Plainfield, such as, Robert, Otis and Raymond. She belonged to one of the largest Labor Unions, the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and also thoroughly enjoyed cooking for her family. She is pre deceased by her loving husband, Thomas A. Kane Sr; son, Thomas A. Kane Jr.; two brothers, John and Paul Antolik and a sister Ann Van Dyke. Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn Bradley and husband Gerald of North Plainfield; daughter in law, Mary Ann Kane of South Plainfield; grandchildren, Kimberly Kane-Sgroi and her husband John, Mark Thomas Bradley and Jennifer Testa and her husband Vincent as well as two great grandchildren, Amelia Lynn Testa and Michael Noble Testa. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 9:15AM in McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 (www.mccriskinfuneralhome.com) followed by a 10AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the funeral home.
