Obituary of Joseph J. Padula

Middletown, NJ - Joseph J. Padula, Jr., 76, formerly of South Plainfield, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the Woodlands Care Center in Plainfield. Born in Sunbury, PA to the late Joseph Sr. and Mary (Weimer) Padula, Joseph resided in South Plainfield most of his life before settling to Middletown. A self-employed electrician by trade, Joseph owned and operated JPJ Electric out of South Plainfield. He belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and was a former Rotarian with the South Plainfield Rotary, having been a former president for both organizations. In his spare time, Joseph had a love for hunting, fishing and golfing. Joseph leaves behind his loving family; his sister Marianne Cesare and her husband Allan of South Plainfield, nephew Anthony Cesare and Sarah DiNicola and her sons; Giovanni and Franco, nephew Nicholas and his wife Ashley and two great-nephews Anthony, Jr. and Joseph. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass honoring Joseph's life on Saturday, November 10, 2018 beginning 10:00 am at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 149 South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Funeral services are being handled by McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals in South Plainfield.
