Obituary of William David Cheney

William David "Bill" Cheney, Jr., of Dunellen, died peacefully on December 21, 2018. Born in Belleville and raised in Nutley, he was a former resident of Westfield and Mountainside, graduating from Johnathan Dayton High School in 1983. Bill settled to Dunellen in 1992. He was a devoted Seattle Seahawks football fan and enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. When he had the chance, Bill loved to bowl and play Mini-Golf. Most of all, Bill enjoyed the quality time spent with his family, especially with his son who was the light of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, William David Cheney, Sr. Surviving are his beloved wife Amy Cheney (nee Stahl), his loving son William David Cheney, III, his dear parents, mother Patricia Miller and dad Bill Miller, and his extended family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to gather for visitation on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00PM at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway with a prayer service to be held at 2:00PM at the funeral home.
