Obituary of Dolores Keegan
Dolores Keegan, 89, died on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Center For Hope Hospice and Palliative Care in Scotch Plains.
Born in Brooklyn, Mrs. Keegan resided in the Bay Ridge and Kensington sections prior to moving to New Jersey where she lived in Toms River and Brick before relocating to Middlesex 11 years ago.
While living in Brooklyn, Dolores worked as a Crossing Guard at the intersection of E. 3rd St and Avenue C. She proudly held that position for 20 years where she truly enjoyed crossing students and pedestrians.
Predeceased by her husband Bernard, Dolores is survived by her three children; Kathleen Anello and her husband John of Middlesex, Ellen McMenemy and her husband Kevin of Forked River and Kevin Keegan of Pompano Beach; brother, George McCormick and his wife Daris of Mahwah, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Middlesex.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, Jamesburg.
