Obituary of Betty Jane Makowski
Betty Jane (Borrow) Makowski, 86, died on March 9, 2019 in New Port Richey, FL.
A life long resident of South Plainfield, Betty and her husband, Joseph relocated to New Port Richey, Florida in 2003.
Betty was employed by Allstate Insurance Company in Bridgewater as an administrative assistant before retiring in 1992. Previously, she was employed by Dilly Manufacturing in So. Plainfield as a Receptionist for many years.
She was active with South Plainfield’s PTA during her children’s attendance in their elementary and High School years. Betty was also active with her children in Boy Scouts and served as their Cub Scout leader.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph F. Makowski, Sr.; three sons, Joseph F. Jr. of Palm Harbor, Florida, John E. Makowski and wife, Grace Catanzaro and James P. Makowski , both of So. Plainfield. Also surviving are her grandchild, Erica Makowski.
