Dorothy M. (Phillips) Louise, 85, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the Chelsea in Fanwood.

A longtime resident of South Plainfield, Dorothy resided in North Plainfield and was a faithful communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church.

An avid Miami Dolphins fan and New York Yankee fan, Dorothy enjoyed attending her great nephew’s sporting events.  She was also an avid traveler with her longtime companion, Howie. Dorothy was sweet and kind and always did her best to make others feel special.

Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Louise; companion, Howie Evert and two siblings, Thomas and Ish Phillips; surviving are her two sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Mack and Joan Pendelino and brother, Paul Phillips.

She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin on Monday at 11AM in the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 11:30AM.

Family and friends may gather in the funeral home at 10AM.

Burial will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
