Marian was a dear friend during the years she and Jim lived at Twin Oaks here in Newport, NC. Whenever I told her I wanted to go shopping or go to a movie she always said, “what time are you picking me up?” Prior to Jim’s death when he answered the telephone when I called I’d ask, “ what are you doing?” His answer was always, “ waiting for you to come over.” Their hearts and home were always open to us.
God blessed me with Marian’s friendship. May she Rest In Peace!
