Obituary of Catherine C. Demico

Catherine C. Demico, 83, died on Monday, July 29, 2019 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.

Born in Jersey City, Catherine has been a lifelong resident of South Plainfield.

Catherine took particular enjoyment spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, had an extensive doll collection and loved to watch movies.

Predeceased by her husband Joseph; son in-law, Stephen Benak; sisters, Virginia Campbell and Della Milam and brother, Johnny Kratz,  Catherine is survived by her children, Ann Lammi, Rose Benak ,Lucy Demico and Daniel Demico all of South Plainfield; grandchildren, Michael, Christine, Danny, Posie, Joey and Julie and great grandchildren, Raven and Christian. Also surviving is her dear pet Elvis.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 beginning at 10am followed by a 12pm funeral service in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Interment will follow Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
