Obituary of Carolyn L. Rock

Middlesex, NJ – Carolyn L. (Hansen) Rock, 76, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, January 9, 2020. Born in Baltimore, MD to the late Arnold and Carrie (Wittmann) Hansen, Carolyn has lived in Middlesex for the last forty-five years. She retired from Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals in Raritan as a Secretary. Having a love for quilting, she belonged to the Ladies Quilting Group and enjoyed travelling. Carolyn enjoyed River Boat Cruises and as a frequent traveler, she would go anywhere! When she made up her mind to do something, she set her spirt to it and off she went. Predeceased by her husband Edward and sister Arlene, Carolyn leaves behind her son Daniel of Brick and her daughter Carrie of Long Branch. She is also survived by her brother Arnold Hansen of Suisun City, CA and her nephew Bryan and his wife Fabienne and their daughter Jodie, all of Spring Lake. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846. Family and friends are invited to gather at Bound Brook Cemetery on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 for an 11:00 am graveside service.
