Obituary of Eva T Grippo
Eva (Evelyn) T. Grippo, 91, passed away on June 4, 2020, at Autumn Lake Nursing Home in Berkley Heights.
Born on January 1, 1929, in Newark, NJ, Mrs. Grippo had resided in Middlesex since 1969.
She was a former employee with New Jersey Bell in Newark, NJ.
Evelyn is predeceased by her husband Frank Grippo in 2012 and two sons, Paul Grippo, in 1979 and Stephen Grippo in 1991. Surviving are her son, Joseph Grippo and his wife, Barbara Brennan of Basking Ridge, N.J.; her grandchildren, Ryan Michael Grippo and his wife Xin Yuan from Boston, Massachusetts and James Joseph Grippo, Jessica Evelyn Grippo and Kathryn Barbara Grippo from Basking Ridge, NJ.
Evelyn dedicated her life to the education and support of her sons and grandchildren. She loved life and remained active and independent until her passing. She had a passion for meteorology, fishing, writing, and nature. In addition, Eva loved genealogy searches and keeping in touch with family over many years and miles of separation. She will be missed.
In lieu of funeral services, a celebration of her life will be planned for in person and virtual attendance at a date yet to be determined.
Eva will be laid to rest alongside her husband and son at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
