Obituary of Virginia Jean Beck
Virginia J. Beck, 90, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 surrounded by her family at home.
Born and raised in the city of Plainfield, Virginia had been a longtime resident of Piscataway.
Mrs. Beck loved cooking Italian meals for her family and listening to Italian Opera music. She loved spending time in Atlantic City, playing the lottery and was an avid NY Yankees fan. In addition she also enjoyed gardening.
Virginia is predeceased by her husband, Richard Beck who passed away in 1995. Also by siblings, Rose Pendolino, Anne Wilson, Katherine Romanowitz, Al Pendolino and Eugene Pendolino.
Surviving is her daughter, Katherine Tanzola and her husband Jerry of South Plainfield; son, Richard Beck, and his wife Dorothy of Mexico, NY and grandchildren, Cheri and her husband Alex Morales, Jimmy Tanzola, Johnny and Molly Beck. She is also survived by her sisters Francis Rossi and Marion Celentano, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Virginia’s Cremation Services were held privately under the direction of the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
A Funeral Mass of her cremated remains will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 10:15am at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
