Throughout her life, Judith was a seamstress and a saleswoman, but enjoyed spending quality time with her family as a homemaker.  She was an active member of St. Francis Cabrini Church in Piscataway, where she was a part of the Altar Rosary Society for many years and served as President.  Having 4 musical children she decided to get involved with music as a member of the St. Joseph Church Bell Choir in Bound Brook, NJ and sang in church choirs.  Prior to the death of her husband James, they were both active with the River Road Fire Department and Judith was proud to be a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Shortly after the death of her husband James, Judith relocated to Cape May, NJ.

After settling to Cape May, was an active member of the Altar Rosary Society at Our Lady Star of the Sea. She enjoyed knitting and making rosaries.  She also continued with her musical endeavors by playing bells with the Church of the Advent Bell Choir and playing the dulcimer with Fr. Stan’s musical ensemble at nursing homes.

Her contagious smile and bright aura will be missed by all those that knew her.  Predeceased by her husband of forty-five years, James J. Arico in 2006 and by her daughter-in-law Linda Ward-Arico in 2019.  Judith leaves behind her loving children; James J. Arico Jr. of Oxford, NJ, Sister Linda Marie Arico, CSR Sisters of the Redeemer in Huntingdon Valley, PA, Anthony F. Arico and his wife Marlene of Cape May Courthouse, NJ, and Shirley A. Firling and her husband Jeff of Oxford, NJ.  Judy is also survived by her eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and her siblings; twin sister Barbara Brennan and her husband Joe of Macungie, PA, Nancy Wotanis of Whitehouse Station, NJ, and Joseph Miller and his wife Sharon of South Plainfield, NJ.
