South Plainfield – Elizabeth “Betty” Marics – 85, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020.
Born in New Brunswick to the late, John and Rebecca Kears, Betty resided in Highland Park before settling to South Plainfield 35 years ago. She enjoyed playing Bingo and socializing with her friends in the Morris Avenue Senior Housing.
Predeceased by her husband, Ladislas Marcis; surviving are her two children, Karen Coffey and husband Matthew of South Plainfield and Ladislas Marcis, Jr. and wife Ellen of Toms River.
She will also be missed by her six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Betty will be buried privately alongside her husband, Ladislas in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery
