Obituary of Dolores C Rapatski
South Plainfield – Dolores C. Rapatski, 87, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 in Haven Hospice of JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born and raised in South Plainfield, Dolores was also a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in South Plainfield. She initially started as a cashier with Shop Rite in South Plainfield, after their closing, Dolores went on to Stop and Shop then finally retired from A&P at the age is 85.
In her younger years, Dolores enjoyed traveling to Florida, Canada and never missed an opportunity to spend time at the beach. She also enjoyed going to flea market and fishing.
Predeceased by her two husbands; surviving are her four sons, Guido Coladonato, Clark Rapatski, Steven Rapatski and Michael Rapatski and her sister, Kathleen Steiner.
She will also be missed by her fourteen grandchildren, great grandchildren and her nieces, nephews and extended family.
Family and friends may gather in the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 from 1-3PM.
Cremation will be held privately.
