Martinsville, NJ – Joseph R. Hock, Jr., 92, passed away in the early hours of Thursday, November 19, 2020.  Born in New York, NY to the late Joseph R. Hock, Sr. and Mildred Konrath, he lived most of his life on Long Island. 

An honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, Joseph proudly served his country as a Radar Repairman during World War II.  He attended the University of Alabama where he attained a Bachelor Degree in Engineering.  He worked as an Engineer for Coca-Cola in Atlanta and then retired from Unisys, located on Long Island, after over thirty years of employment.

An avid reader, he also loved golf and in his younger years, enjoyed Tennis. 

Joseph is survived by his wife of fifty-six years Ann (Maurer) Hock, his daughter Doreen L. Hock-Beim and her husband Robert Beim of Basking Ridge along with three grandchildren; Zachary Joseph, Daniel Charles and Anna Lily Marie.

Visitation will be held at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 11:00 am until 11:30 am.  Mausoleum entombment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
