Obituary of Anthony D. Mantuano
Piscataway – Anthony D. Mantuano, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, November 29, 2020.
Born and raised in Edison Township by the late Alice and Dominic Mantuano, Anthony settled to Piscataway in 1977. A true craftsman, Anthony proudly constructed his home.
An honorable discharged veteran of the United States Army, Anthony served our Country during the Vietnam War. During his service, Anthony received 6 bronze stars as well as a Sharpshooter badge. He was known to entertain the troops playing the accordion; his love for entertainment followed him though out the years as he entertained seniors playing the instrument he was married too.
Anthony also enjoyed collecting and assembling miniature trains and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Lillian (Graziano) Mantuano of Piscataway; two sons, the Professional Security Specialist, Richard Mantuano and finance Michele Mojar of East Windsor and the Professional Performer, Dominic Mantuano and wife Amy of Strafford Connecticut and granddaughter, Crystal Disney.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 10AM in the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway NJ 08854, followed by entombment in Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 6-9PM.
