Marin Solakov, beloved husband and father, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Marin was born and raised in Hadzhidimovo, Bulgaria and had been a resident of Fords since 1973.
A talented carpenter and general contractor, Mr. Solakov was the owner and operator of Mike's Home Improvement based in Fords.
Surviving are his wife, Agnes Solakov of Fords; daughter, Sylvia Solakov of Wyndmoor,PA.; son, John Solakov of Glen Mills, PA. and three grandchildren, Everly, Elliot and Daphne Solakov
.
All funeral services for Mr. Solakov wer private and arrangements have been entrusted to the McCriksin - Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
