Obituary of Sue Chiarella
Sue Chiarella, 95, passed away on January 16, 2021 at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, ME. Born in Newark to the late Giovanni and Agnes (Polmieri) DiPalma, Sue has lived in South Plainfield and Green Brook before residing in Middlesex for over 30 years. Recently, she settled up in New England to be closer to her son Louis and his family.
She worked in retail for ten years before staying home and taking care of her family as a homemaker. She was formerly active with the Middlesex Senior Citizens and Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex.
Predeceased by her husband Louis, Sr. in 1972, she leaves behind her only son Louis A. and his wife Judith of South Carolina, and grandson Matthew of Texas.
A private burial was held in the family plot of Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.
