Obituary of Mary Ann Stalling
Mary Ann Stalling 88, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at home surrounded by her family.
Born and raised in the City of Hoboken, Mary Ann resided in Ridgefield Park prior to settling to Edison in the mid 1960’s.
She retired as Vice President of the Notte Collection Agency in Edison. She was an active member in the Clara Barton Seniors Club as well as the Edison Social Club and Edison AARP Chapter 3446. Mary Ann was the Chapter's Day Trip Coordinator. She enjoyed playing the slots in Atlantic City, playing cards with her friends, traveling with the Seniors, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was passionate about life and was loved by all.
Predeceased by her siblings, she is survived by her beloved husband, Richard J. Stalling of 66 years; sister-in-law, Mabel C. Hoffmann and son, Nicholas Hoffmann; daughters, Deborah A. Stalling and Sandra M. Stalling; sons, Richard H. Stalling and his wife Betty Ann and Donald E. Stalling and his wife Caroline; six grandchildren, Edward J. Bachorik, Jr. and his wife Lydia, Joseph R. Bachorik and his wife Christine, Daniel J. Stalling and his wife Kelly, Thomas J. Stalling and his wife Dana, Courtney E. Bloomer and her husband Sean and Robert J. Stalling and his wife Jennifer; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, beginning at 9 a.m. followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral service in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Susan Lehman Cullman Laboratory for Cancer Research, Department of Chemical Biology, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, 164 Frelinghuysen Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854-8020
Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy, NJ.
