Ate Maggie is a former co-worker of mine at the Clara Maass Medical Center. Our Ilocano culture brought us close together. Ate Maggie would share anything she has - hand me down clothes of her grandchildren for my boys to food and Christmas gifts. When she stopped working and until her retirement she sent my family Christmas cards yearly. The last one was in 2020. Sadly, I found out about her demise in November. There will no longer be a planned tea time or a dinengdeng for lunch with her. Ate Maggie will be a memory forever - her simplicity, humility and caring attitude is something to linger. In my mind and in my heart , her smile and gestures of thoughtfulness will never fade away. RIP / eternal rest to your soul Ate Maggie. Condolence to her daughter and grandchildren.
