Obituary of Albert Louis Mazzacco, Jr.
Middlesex, NJ – Albert Louis Mazzacco, Jr., 72, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville. Born and raised in Bound Brook to the late Albert Sr. and Joyce (Scribner) Mazzacco, Al has been a resident of Middlesex since 1976.
He worked as a computer database engineer for Dun & Bradstreet in Short Hills. A devout catholic, Al was active with Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex. He was the head usher at the 5pm mass for several years and was a money counter for the masses. Al enjoyed his time spent at church, but thoroughly enjoyed the Knights of Columbus. He was a 4th Degree Knight with Council #12700.
His family came first above all things and was a true family man. He was an avid Rutgers Football fan and enjoyed cheering on his NY Giants. Many people will remember him as the “Bingo Man” from his years working at Our Lady of Mount Virgin School Bingo.
Al leaves behind his loving wife of forty-five years Mary Louise and their children; Elizabeth Massop and her husband Andre and Laura Mazzacco, all of Middlesex. He will be missed dearly by his sister Eileen Thomas of Phoenix, AZ, nephew John Thomas of Mesa, AZ and his four legged companion, Molly.
At the request of the family, services will be handled privately from Middlesex Funeral Home.
