Obituary of Alfonso M. Lazarte
Alfonso M Lazarte, Jr. was born on September 20, 1949. He died at the age of 71 on April 4, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He was born in Manila, Philippines and was one of eight children to Loreto and Alfonso Lazarte, Sr. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1984 and became a citizen after three years.
He resided in Edison, New Jersey for the remainder of his life. He was survived by his wife of 42 years, Vivian Lazarte, their two daughters, Janise Lazarte and Lindsey Carson, and four siblings, Flora Gawaran, Connie Balanquit, Carol Casil, and Antonio Lazarte.
He worked as a foreman at Royal Apex for over twenty years, then finished his career as a Machine Operator at McNichols Co. He was a jack of all trades, he loved music, cooking, fishing, his dog Yogi, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving father, husband, brother, and son.
A viewing will be held at Piscataway Funeral Home on Thursday, April 8th from 3pm - 7pm EST followed by a service on Friday, April 9th at 10am. Family and friends are welcome to come. He will be buried at Lake Nelson Memorial Cemetery.
