Al Miranda, 66, of South Plainfield passed away peacefully on June 16, 2021 at Hackensack University Medical Center.  Al is survived by his children; Alicia and Al Miranda, ex wife, Florence Miranda, his sister Estelle Miranda, and Granddaughter, Ava as well as his remaining family.

Al joined the U.S Marine Corp out of high school and served his country for 3 years before going to work for over 25 years at PSE&G as a welder, prior to retirement.  He was a devoted father to both of his children, cheering them on at their sporting events. He was also a Cubmaster for the boy scouts for many years and enjoyed the time spent with kids.  His greatest joy was fishing and did that as often as possible.  Al loved sports, especially football, his favorite team being the Miami Dolphins.

Al, the loving son that he was, spent the later part of his life in Puerto Rico taking care of his beloved mother when she became ill, he always enjoyed the beautiful ocean and calm nature of the island. Al will be laid to rest alongside his mother in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico.

Although the world will be a little darker without him, the lives he touched shine bright. We love you always and forever, Dad.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 6-9PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080.

Alberto will be laid to rest in his family plot located in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico.
