My deepest condolences to the family members of David Nuber. I was one of the fortunate persons to work with Dave as my Manager at Reckitt Benckiser for 5 years. Dave was a great mentor and his passing will never take away the legacy he left with us. He was a pillar of strength for the team. Dave was truly kindhearted. How can I ever forget our conversations during Friday morning coffee and snacks with Dave at RB, Montvale, where he would often treat us with donuts, home-made zucchini breads and cakes? Like me many will remember Dave as a person who would go extra miles to help at any time whether it’s scientific query or personal.
May God bless Dave. He will be in my thoughts and prayers… I will miss you Dave.

From my very first day it was evident that Dave was a kind, warm man that wore his heart on his sleeves. Pictures of family and mementos surrounded him in the workplace, and he was always ready to share a memory of those he cherished most.
I am absolutely stunned by this news, God Bless you Dave. I will genuinely cherish the time we worked together.

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of Dave. My condolences to everyone in his family. We were friends first in grade school and through high school and then reconnected later on through cycling. I was cycling quite a bit back then and never considered doing an organized tour. Dave talked me into doing the Tour of New York and then a Tour through central Jersey. I was so glad I did, it was a great time and experience and we had a lot of fun. You always think, hey one day we'll do it again but some how you never get to it and you run out of time. I often ride by your house to train, if you still live there, but I often thought about reaching out but life gets in the way and you never get to it. Sorry I never did. Rest in peace and all the best and strength to all you family.

I worked with Dave during my first job, at Honeywell. As a coworker he was a vital to the progress and successes of our emerging businesses. As a friend he was always a bright light, genuine, and inspiring. Since I was a recent graduate from Penn State and he was a die hard Buckeye, we always had plenty of competitive banter. And behind any playful trash talk, there was admiration and full support. He supported me while I began my career and I watched as he followed his dreams in receiving his PhD. I was dealing with a host of things during the part of my life that I worked with Dave and I ultimately decided to leave Honeywell for a new position. This was extremely stressful and due to my immaturity at the time, slightly embarrassing. So, I did my best to leave with out many people knowing at all. Shortly after I received an email form Dave, joking around about how I darted out. He went on to tell me about what was going on in his life and asking about my own. He said "Not sure where you ended up but I wish you the best of luck there. I hope they know they got a wonderful person and a great employee. If they don't know it now, they will soon find out what a great all around person you are.” We continued to exchange emails back and forth. Dave took the time-- day in and day out-- to make people feel noticed and special and I feel completely blessed to have been given the opportunity to experience that. I am now back at Honeywell and was looking forward to being closer to him again. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

I don’t think Dave and I ever met in person. With Covid, we spent a lot of time on the phone and working together the last 2 years. I remember many of our conversations. I considered Dave a special friend. He was a true gentleman and a scholar. He was a renaissance man.
Yes, we did work together and spent many hours on that. He was awesome at it. A wonderful a colleague. A great team member. Supportive to everyone.
But was more important to me was the other times. We shared many of the same interests. Music, science and cooking.
We both loved Thanksgiving I can remember last Thanksgiving spending a reasonable amount of time talking about our menus and being so excited. ( we were suppose to share some recipes but time got away) It was about family and doing something special for them.
He talked often about his family. And his love for the love of his life. He so looked forward to your anniversary every year. You were the sunshine in his world. Truly speaks to your love and the special man he was..
Classical church music was a common love as well. We would often talk about hymns that we loved. A true man of faith.
We planned on getting together to celebrate his PHD. It as we laughed, proved that age is not a limit in learning no matter what the world said. I was so proud of him doing this. He did not see limits in life. How special a perspective that is today.
It is sad to realize that we will not be share any of these interest in the days and years ahead.
Please accept my sympathies. Know that he was a man that made the world a better place and he will be missed by many including me. His joy and love of life and the people around him was truly special. May you find comfort in all those special memories you have. May he rest in Peace. God Bless. Know you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
Also, there will not be a Thanksgiving that he does not come to mind.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave at Honeywell on a few projects. We would not only talk about work but about cooking, food, family, and faith. When I was first hired on, Dave invited me to his areas holiday celebration and it was when we found our love for food and trying new things. Dave had me try all the desserts and as a vegetarian I had Dave try all the things with meat. Having a meeting with Dave was always the highlight of my day. My sincere condolences to the Nubers and their family and close friends. Dave was a wonderful colleague, who I first met in Parsippany when he would go to that office, but when I transferred over to Montvale he was a main reason that I did ask to be transferred. He and I would have wonderful conversations on science, medical, social issues, but my favorite were our Boston-Yankees "disagreements". I will miss him dearly as will the many colleagues he interacted with. I cannot imagine a single soul that would not remember him as one of the kindest and most warm hearted people you could meet. RIP Dave---May the Lord hold you in His embrace.

I am a colleague of Dave's here in Morris Plains, and am shocked, and saddened to hear of his loss. While we haven't had the chance to work face to face in the past year and a half, Dave supported several of my projects, so we did have remote interactions more recently. However, while that has been a measure of our professional lives, it's the personal side of Dave that I will always remember. From his first joining our team here, Dave was one of the most friendly and genuinely outgoing people I have met, and we talked about family, faith, science, real rocketry, his research, almost any issue. His family made him extremely proud, and we spoke at length about his son's aerospace and rocketry, and their advances in getting to real altitudes. I will miss working with, and being around Dave.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I had opportunity to meet David on several occasions when he worked at Reckitt Benckiser and would occasionally make his "visits" from Montvale to our Parsippany office. What a wonderful, kind and gentle human being. I enjoyed our many talks and he seemed like such a wonderful husband and father. He loved telling me his stories of his upcoming fishing trips with his daughter that he so looked forward to.
