Obituary of Janet A. Oates
Piscataway – Janet A. (Maesano) Oates, 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at home.
Born and raised in Queens, Janet relocated on New Jersey in the 1980’s and settled to Piscataway in October of 2006. She worked as Vice President for Daiwa Capital Markets, America, INC in New York City for many years.
An avid gardener, Janet took great pride in yard.
Surviving are her husband of 16 years, Charles Oates; siblings, Johanna Maesano and Alfio Maesano; step sons, Charles E. Oates and Robert L. Oates and two grandchildren, Alec and Trevor. She will also be missed by her nephews, James and Michael Maesano and their families.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 9:30AM in the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road Piscataway NJ 08854 followed by a funeral mass at 11AM in St. Frances Cabrini RC Church, Piscataway.
Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 7-9PM at the funeral home.
