Middlesex, NJ – Ellen E. (Elliott) Bowman, 93, died on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Brandywine Assisted Living in Bound Brook. Born in Millburn, NJ to the late Robert E. and Esther (Zehnder) Elliott, she lived in Green Brook till 1983, settled to Warren until 1987, and after a short time in Forked River, she moved to Middlesex in 1994.
A homemaker most of her life, who kept an immaculate house, she also worked for Merck in her earlier years as a Chemist. She had a love of ceramics, crossword puzzles, baking and shopping but her favorite time was spent with her grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband Joseph, son Arthur and three siblings; Robert, John and Ruth, Ellen leaves behind her loving daughter Patricia Zwaan and her husband Louis of Middlesex, two adored grandchildren; Louis Peter and Amanda Joelle and her nieces and nephews; Linda, Judy, Susan, Malcolm, Marty, Janet, Robert, James and John.
At the request of Ellen’s family, all services have been made private.
