Obituary of Marie Thony

Marie Dernsta Thony, 42, passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.  Born in Port Au Prince, Haiti, Marie spent a majority of her life in Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island before settling to Piscataway in 2014.

She was a Nurse Manager at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.  Marie loved spending time with her family and enjoyed Marvel Comics and Transformers.

She leaves behind a host of family and friends, including her three loving children; Nya, Tahmari and Eli as well as her mother Yvrose Thony, father Jean R. Thony, her siblings and nine nieces and eight nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Lake Nelson Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Piscataway from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.  Marie will be entombed at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 10:00 am.
