Obituary of Dale Painton

Dale Painton, 53, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank.

Born in Plainfield, Dale was raised in Edison and graduated from J.P. Stephens High School in 1987 and had been a resident of South Plainfield since 1996.

A woman of strong faith, Dale was a faithful communicant at Our Lady of Czestochowa in South Plainfield. She served the church as a former administrator and CCD teacher and as well as longtime volunteer at the popular Feast of St. Anthony.

Dale loved vacationing near the ocean, creating art; particularly airbrushing, loved bulldogs and adored the color purple. But what brought Dale the most joy was spending time with family and friends.

Predeceased by her father William Maroney and brother Dean Maroney, Dale is survived by her husband James; sons Luke and Tanner all of South Plainfield, mother, Dolores Maroney of South Plainfield; sisters Dawn Frusco and her husband Tony of Edison and Donna Price of South Plainfield. Also surviving are several extended dear relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 2-6pm in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 10:30am at Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield, NJ.

Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ.
