Obituary of Conrad J. Demboski
Middlesex, NJ – Conrad Joseph Demboski, 90, passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Born in Plainfield to the late Joseph and Katherine (Kurty) Demboski, Conrad has lived in Middlesex since 1968.
An honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, Conrad proudly served his country from 1953-1955. He retired from the Bank of New York in New York City as a well-established banker and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Conrad was an avid bowler who bowled in numerous leagues and had a love for sports; especially softball, cross country and football.
He was proud to receive two letters; one in cross country and the other in football, both from Rutgers University. Conrad enjoyed reading and had a love for ice cream but above all things, family came first and he will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Predeceased by his wife Arlene in 2020, Conrad leaves behind his children; Dawn Maurigi and her husband Mike of Middlesex and Conrad, Jr., and his wife Cathy of Long Valley and four grandchildren; Tyler, Michael and his wife Leanne and Alexis Demboski and Jessica Maurigi.
Visitation will begin at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 with a concluding prayer service at 11:45am. Conrad will then be laid to rest besides his wife in the family plot at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
