Piscataway, NJ – Fermin B. Tuvera, Jr., 57, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Villasis, Philippines to Fermin Sr. and Romualda Buenaflor, Fermin immigrated to the United States in 1984. He lived in Jersey City and Belleville prior to marrying his best friend Cynthia in 1990, where they then settled to Union and Hillside before becoming a resident of Piscataway in 1993.
He was proud to be a DJ and loved entertaining people as the owner of JC2 VRA Productions and was a warehouse associate for Qualitas Pharmacy Services in South Plainfield. Fermin enjoyed following his wife’s Zumba classes and loved hiking and bowling.
Predeceased by his father Fermin, Sr. and brother Sam, Fermin leaves behind his wife Cynthia Tuvera, daughter Nikki Tuvera and her boyfriend Vincent Caliboso and son Noel Tuvera and his girlfriend Tammy Quach. Fermin will be missed dearly by his mother Romualda, eight siblings of the US and Philippines as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 4-8pm and Saturday, February 12, 2022 beginning 9:00am at South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Funeral services will begin 9:30am in the funeral home on Saturday, February 12, 2022 followed by a 10:00 am funeral mass at St. Frances Cabrini RC Church in Piscataway. At the request of the family, mausoleum entombment will be held privately at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
