Where would I begin? Rod was a HUGE deadhead and loved the band. When I had the opportunity to personally meet the entire band, I was able to secure some autographs and pictures, etc. He loved it and I was so happy to get those for him.
My fondest thought of Rod is how simple he was in the respects of just hanging out doing his carpentry work and then relaxing to do some picture puzzles to the METS game with a cold beer! Yep, that was Rod! I hope you see Chip and give him a hug from me Rod, we had a ton of times together and it was nice being able to share some of those together with you and friends! Soar with the angels my friend!
