I offer my sincerest condolences to the family of Zenobia. I didn’t know she had passed. My heart is full. I can never forget her kindness and generosity of spirit. As a fellow SGI-USA member, I met her in 1996 when I moved to New Jersey. We had a common friend, Ms. Bernadette Nicholsen, who also just passed away. I was just calling Zenobia to let her know. And here today, I find I’ve lost not one, but two dear friends. I’m shedding some tears, but I know both are happy and at ease. Thank you. I love you Zenobia. Lisa Traveler

Sending love and support to the family of Zenobia Odiase... Dear Family, I met and became close with Zenobia through our practice of Buddhism over 20 years ago. It was always a wonderful experience to have her as a guest speaker at our meetings. Her vibrant, bubbly personality would light up the room as soon as she entered, as we looked forward to hearing her encouraging words. I lost contact with some members over time. Like many of us, a year ago I found myself struggling very hard to get past some of life's difficulties and I reached out to Zenobia for guidance by phone in March of 2021. In that conversation of about 15 minutes or so, I was not only comforted by her kindness and understanding but also empowered by the passion in her heart and the power of her conviction that I could overcome any obstacles I was faced with. I will keep the memories of our last personal conversation in my heart forever. A true Bodhisattva, Zenobia's bright light will continue to illuminate through her beautiful children, family, friends and those who knew her. NamMyohoRengeKyo, Tanya Simpson
