Obituary of William Gulya, Jr.

Flemington, NJ – William Gulya, Jr., 70, died in the early hours of Friday, October 7, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.  Born in Edison to the William, Sr. and Edwina (Stokes) Gulya, Bill has lived in Piscataway and Flemington his whole life.

Bill, along with his father, owned and operated Middlesex Trenching Company and then went on to own Sitework Expert Witness of Flemington.  He enjoyed golfing and candle making but his true love in life was his family, especially his grandchildren.

Bill leaves behind his loving wife Kathy (Signorin) Gulya of Flemington and their two children; Billy and his wife Janine Gulya of Ridgewood and Stacy Raucci and her husband Paddy of Staten Island, NY.  He will be missed deeply by his four adored grandchildren; Antonio, Alissa, Ella and Will as well as his sister Janice Garcia and her husband Ron and his brother-in-law Rich Signorin.

Visitation will be held at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm and on Thursday, October 13, 2022 beginning 9:00am.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 9:30am followed by a 10:00am funeral mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex.  Bill will be entombed at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations sent in Bill’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) would be appreciated.
