Obituary of Matteo Anthony Nappe
Matteo Anthony Nappe passed away on October 21, 2022, at nineteen months old after battling a congenital heart defect. Matteo was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 14, 2021, to parents, Anthony and Lauren (Abbate) Nappe.
Matteo, known by his sisters, Miliana and Vivienne, as Tae Tae, was a smiley, happy toddler. He loved his sisters, Mickey Mouse, scooting around the house and his favorite song was “The Wheels on the Bus”.
Though his life was brief, the fight he fought will never be forgotten and his memory will live on in his friends and family.
Matteo is survived by his parents, Anthony and Lauren, his sisters, Miliana and Vivienne, his grandparents Robert and Donna Abbate and Joe and Bella Nappe, his great grandmother Antoinette Nappe, his twelve aunts and uncles, fifteen adoring cousins and loving extended family and Friends.
The family welcomes all to his visitation on October 27, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals in South Plainfield.
A funeral mass will be held on October 28, 2022 beginning 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield. At the request of the Matteo’s family, cremation services will be held privately.
