Obituary of Edward Hearon
Edward Hearon, 65, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at his home in Piscataway.
Born and raised in Oregon, Ed enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. where he served as a Computer Programmer. Following his service, he moved to New Jersey and eventually settled in Piscataway where he married his wife Leslie.
A longtime resident of Piscataway, Ed worked not far from home at Digi America in Somerset for over 40 years, where he was the longest-tenured employee. During his career here, Ed worked on several major projects and held various positions. After his first 18 months with the company, he was asked to move to Southern California to fulfill the role of NBI West Office Manager. The last 25 years of Ed’s Career were spent in New Jersey proving to be an integral part of the Digi team.
Outside of work Ed enjoyed traveling and was proud of the ten New York Marathons he completed over the years.
Predeceased by his wife Leslie, daughter Joanne Brooks, and grandson Trey Wallace, Edward is survived by his daughters Danielle Hearon and Janeen Banks, and brother Tom Hearon. He will also be missed by his seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren along with a host of extended relatives and friends.
Cremation Services will be held privately.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
