Obituary of Jacqueline J. Mizner
Edison, NJ – Jacqueline J. Mizner, 69, passed away on January 24, 2023 at CareOne at the Highlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edison following a long, hard and brave battle with cancer. Born at Camp Kilmer Army Hospital in Piscataway, NJ to Merlin Lee Mizner and the late Marie “Bootsie” Elizabeth Nodes. Jackie lived in Dunellen, Middlesex, Piscataway, Highland Park and Rahway prior to settling in Edison.
Jackie worked with her mother Marie on the assembly line at Revlon and loved the time she spent there. Jackie worked at the Jersey Devil II in Rahway as the Bar Manager for many years which she thoroughly enjoyed. She met so many people over the years and also met Cavan, the love of her life while working there.
Her passion in life was taking care of her family and friends. She loved spending time with her Grandchildren and Great Grand Daughter. Family was everything to Jackie and she was always helping anyone who needed it. Jackie loved arts and crafts and making her dolls and homemade candy.
Jackie was predeceased by her mother Marie “Bootsie”, son Allan and sister’s Sandra Wood and Donna Mizner. Jackie leaves behind her heartbroken sons; Richard Jr. and Christopher along with their wives Tina and Jennifer. Jackie was blessed to have four beautiful grandchildren ; Alexis, Brendan, Hunter and Reagan as well as great-granddaughter Sawyer. Her companion and greatest love of twenty-five years; Cavan. Her father Merlin Mizner Sr; siblings, Sharon Moore, Merlin Mizner, Jr. and Daniel Mizner, as well as her ex-husband with whom she shared 3 sons with, Richard R. Williams, Sr.
Visitation will be held at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 10am until closing prayers at 12:30pm. At the request of the family, cremation will be private.
