Obituary of Cheryl L. Heiss

Rahway, NJ – Cheryl Heiss, 54, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 28, 2023 after a long battle with cardiac, pulmonary and MS Difficulties.  Cheryl was born in Elizabeth, NJ to the late Fredrick and Georgeana (Hoffman) Heiss and was a resident of Rahway.

Cheryl lived life in the fast lane and sometimes would stop to smell the roses, but most of the time her life was filled and full of fun.

Predeceased by her fiancé Billy Orak, Cheryl leaves behind her sister Laurie Cesareo and her husband Edward, brother Raymond Heiss and his spouse Nicholas Brescasin, nephew Drew Cesareo and her dear friend, Ava Freeman.

At the request of the family, services were privately handled at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals.  A public celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
