Odessa was a remarkable woman. Faithful and loving, she was the first to bring a tasty dish to a church function or visit an ailing fellow parishioner. The last time I visited her in the nursing home last month, she still was reciting along with me the gospel and the words of communion. And she still had her sense of humor. Rest in peace, Odessa, in the arms of your loving Savior.
