Q: How did you meet Todd?
A: Terry and I met Todd together one night when we went out in Red Bank with a group of girlfriends. He was with a group of friends as well. We all got along so well and then went out to a diner when the bar closed. At the diner, Todd switched seats to make sure he was sitting next to Terry, and that’s how they met too. Then they lived happily ever after!
We are so sorry and saddened by this loss, and will miss Todd terribly. But his memories will live on with his family and friends. He was a great an all around great guy!!!

Todd and I became quick friends when we met Sophomore Year (he wasn’t even a Rutgers student yet!) In our house on Hamilton Street, Todd was always the party planner and community organizer. He had so many friends. He was the guy who made all the phone calls an organized all the events. He was the hub and the rest of us were the spokes. Even in recent years, we got together at least once a year for a golf outing or a Rutgers reunion, he was always in the center of the action. He was someone who not only enjoyed life, but he made sure others did as well. At the Rutgers tailgate, he was always the master of ceremony and he was something to behold. I will always cherish the memories we had during and after our college years. Whenever RU has a big moment in the future, I will always think of Todd as I’m sure he will be smiling. May he rest in eternal peace.

I remember a beautiful time with Todd was when my daughter, Monica, came and visited with her twin boys, who were just infants at the time. My daughter was having so much enjoyment with the visit that she wanted to stay longer. As the wonderful host Todd was he pleasantly whipped up this amazing, delicious dinner for the entire family. Everyone always felt genuinely loved at the Furbee home. Todd loved showing his architectual love for improvements and renovations to his absolutely amazing home. He designed his kitchen and people were always impressed by his gift for design in renovations. Todd always had a beautiful smile on his face and always made you feel so welcomed announced or unannounced of your visit. We love you sweetheart and your boys are a testament of the pride you had in them and the beautiful love you shared with them because they remind me so much of you! You will never be forgotten because of your love of life and people. We will always remember you sweetheart!
